The latest Marvel original series to hit Netflix will be Luke Cage available on September 30th to Netflix customers. There will be a showcase for the show at this years upcoming San Diego Comic Con 2016 & this poster was just released in support of the upcoming preview.

The poster features the main character Luke Cage in a concept art style profile that features the characters classic yellow and black. The poster was designed by Marvel Entertainment Chief Creative officer Joe Quesada who had this to say about it:

“You’ve got one shot to encapsulate a character with a pose that’s provocative and that you hope will someday be iconic. Mike gives Luke a smoldering strength. He’s sexy and calming. And the ladies love it.”

All episodes of Luke Cage will be available to stream online via Netflix on September 30th, 2016.

Cheo Hodari Coker (Notorious, “NCIS: Los Angeles”) will serve as executive producer and showrunner of the anticipated series, Marvel’s Luke Cage. Coker is writing the first two episodes of the series that will premiere everywhere that Netflix is available on September 30.

Created by Archie Goodwin and John Romita, Sr., Luke Cage is one of the most popular street level heroes in the Marvel Universe who possesses superhuman strength and impenetrable skin. He’s also a friend and frequent business partner with Danny Rand aka Iron Fist, who will also be getting his own series on Netflix starring Finn Jones as the title hero.
