The last time there was a new episode of Dragon ball Z was 18 years ago during the Dragon Ball GT saga. But now Dragon Ball Super is set to premiere on Fuji TV in Japan this July to mark the return of one of the worlds most Famous Anime TV Shows.
Dragon Ball Super takes place years after the defeat of Majin Buu and the earth is again in a great time of peace.
Akira Toriyama himself is said to be a part of the newest shows planning and has had direct influence on the plot of the show. Dragon Ball Super Producer Osamu Nozaki said, “As I read the plot [of the series] I’ve already received from Akira Toriyama, my dreams for this begin to expand. An enemy even stronger than Buu or Freeza may appear…”
There hasn’t been confirmation of the show airing in north America or the west yet but since it’s trending worldwide I’m sure Dragon Ball Super will be on the North American airwaves soon enough.
