A San Diego Comic Con press release that went out this evening revealed the first Wonder Women Plot details. The press release also tole us that the screen play was co-written by Geoff Johns known for Flashpoint, Green lantern Brightest day comics and being DC Comics Chief Creative Officer. Additionally, the press release gave details about what Warner Bros. has planned for comic con. Although they have yet to release the full Plot details and synopsis we do get some great details about the upcoming Wonder Women film.
Wonder Women Plot Details below:
“Wonder Woman” hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
The film will be directed by Allan Heinberg who is known mostly for TV and helped relaunch the Wonder Women comics. Wonder Women will have a release date of June 2nd 2017 followed by the Justice League movie in late 2017.
